The Front of National Diet Building Until the Day Something Has Changed

National Diet Building, Nagatacho, Tokyo, July 15 - Sep. 18, 2015.
The front of National Diet Building until the national security bills to expand military roles were passed by Lower House, and they were approved by the Upper House. A lot of people, tens of thousands or one hundred thousand people gathered around there. I shoot the atmosphere which existed between a wall of the police officers and the people without disappearing while an angry voice sounded as the main subject.

集団的自衛権の行使を可能にする安全保障関連法案が、衆議院を通過した7月15日から、翌未明に参議院で可決・成立することになる9月18日までの国会正面。そこには、老若男女、数万または十数万とも言われるほどの人々が集まっていた。私は、その最前線、警官の壁と人々との間に存在していた、怒声がひびく中でも消え去ることなくそこに居続けていた、あの冷たく重い「空気感」を主題に、シャッターを切った。
