Heavy Snow Day, Kamakura, 2014

Feb 8, 2014, a heavy snow recording the hight of 27cm hit Tokyo, leaving 494 people injured in snow related accidents, grounding 740 flights at Narita Airport, causing deadly traffic conditions and knocking out power in more than 15,000 households.
Snowfalls beyond a light dusting are extremely rare in Tokyo, and this storm has already broken a 45-year record.
These photos were taken in four hours in Kamakura city, during that snowy day.
